托福考试“一位难求”的局面将可能得到缓解,记者昨日从教育部考试中心获悉,今年下半年托福网考将增设新考点和扩充现有考点容量。 托福网考从去年9月引入中国后,一直面临考位紧张的状况。最近的一次报名是在4月28日中午12点启动的今年7-10月的托福网考报名,仅仅4个半小时,上海、江苏、浙江的所有考位就已全部报满,不少未报上名的考生心急如焚。记者昨天再次登陆托福报名网站,发现全国各省市所有考点7-10月的考位均已挂上了“报满”牌。业内人士分析,每年年底是美国多数高校留学的申请期,因此下半年一般都是托福考的“旺季”,考生如果没赶不上,留学计划可能会被搁置。对此教育部考试中心称,将会积极与ETS协调增加考试频率。而从今年5月到年底将有相当数量的新增考点,已经投入运行的考点也会有容量上的增加。同时,网考报名比纸笔考试报名更有灵活性和扩充性,不排除考试一周前仍可报名,因此希望考生关注这一变化,合理安排报名时间。 |
